Welcome to the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, where we strive to impact the future of agriculture through engineering, precision and technology. The ABE Department focuses on identifying and improving the world's food production systems and available natural resources for an enhanced agricultural future.

SWCIL provides services to people of all ages with a disability. We work on teaching the skills needed to become as independent as possible. For each person that may look totally different. A referral is needed for our services, but we do not require documentation of a disability. We can provide education on what skills are needed to get a job such as interviewing skills and writing a resume along with the skills needed to keep a job. We do have a ramp program that builds ramps getting into a house or temporary ramp rental. We have an Assistive Technology program where people can check out an item prior to purchasing the item. We do information and referrals to connect people to the proper resources.

Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU), established in 1964, is a public institution located in Marshall, Minnesota. As part of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, SMSU offers a high-quality education in the liberal arts and professions, preparing students for successful personal and professional lives. The university provides over 60 undergraduate majors and several graduate programs, including master's degrees in education and business administration.
