Our roots go back to 1886 when St. Cloud Hospital was built to serve the health care needs of people living in Central Minnesota. In 1995, CentraCare was formed, which today includes eight hospitals in St. Cloud, Long Prairie, Melrose, Monticello, Paynesville, Redwood Falls, Sauk Centre and Willmar. We also have more than 30 clinics, 11 senior housing facilities and seven long-term care facilities throughout the area.

Olmsted Medical Center (OMC), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, has been southeastern Minnesotaâ€™s hometown healthcare provider since 1949. OMCâ€™s 186 clinicians join over 1,300 other healthcare professionals serving at over 22 locations, including two multi-specialty clinics, a Level IV trauma hospital with 24-hour emergency room, a Skyway Clinic in downtown Rochester, and 11 community branch clinics. OMC also offers walk-in FastCare and Acute Care clinics.
Riverland Community College, a member of Minnesota State, has three campuses in southeastern Minnesota: Albert Lea, Austin, and Owatonna, as well as online coursework and programs.
