C & B Operations, LLC started with one location in 1988, in Gettysburg, SD, when Dan Cronin and Rod Burwell purchased the local John Deere dealership to support the farmers, ranchers, and local community when the owner suddenly passed away. C & B has evolved to become one of the largest and most recognized John Deere dealership groups operating thirty-six stores in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. C & B continues to build on their original commitment and honor Dan Cronin & Rod Burwell through the name, C & B, vision, and mission.

C & B remains steadfast in its original commitment, honoring the legacy of Dan Cronin and Rod Burwell through its name, vision, and mission. In November 2024, C & B Operations was acquired by a family-owned business, Point Field Partners. The values instilled by Burwell and Cronin, such as honesty, ethics, and hard work, continue to be the foundation upon which the company thrives.
