High school students are faced with many questions as they move closer to graduation. Questions such as “Do you to start your career right out of high school?”, “Is college the next step in the process?”, or “Are you planning for the future?” This webinar will provide helpful information to help guide students, parent/guardians, and educators. During the webinar, you will have the opportunity to hear from Mayo Clinic employees in a few different roles to learn more about those types of roles, what their path looked like, and how to start preparing for them.
A career can start at any level. You will learn about entry level roles in Desk Operations. This is a great place to start if the path forward is unknown or if college will be postponed before making such a big commitment. You will learn about the education and career opportunities Mayo Clinic offers with such careers as Clinical Neurophysiology. Regardless of if your pathway to being a physician will start in the fall or something to consider in the future, you will get to chat with a current medical student. The July 26th & November 15th webinars will highlight other careers.
