SS Transportation LLC is a trucking and logistics company that coordinates freight movement through communication among drivers, dispatch personnel, office staff, and customers. Daily operations depend on accurate documentation, professional communication, scheduling, billing, and teamwork.
During this educator externship, the participant will observe office operations and transportation processes to understand the English language skills employees use every day. The experience includes reviewing driver paperwork, billing processes, office documentation, and conversations between coworkers that support daily operations.
This experience helps connect classroom English instruction to authentic workplace expectations by demonstrating how reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills contribute to successful careers in transportation and logistics.
