Here at the FTIUM we offer apprenticeship programs for 6 different trades. Glaziers, Glassworkers, Commercial Painter, Industrial Painter, Drywall Finishers, and Sign Technicians. The FTIUM and IUPAT DC82 represent those trades and more in Western Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Montana.
We also offer our FTIUM current and past graduates an opportunity to pursue their Associates Degree in Construction Technologies for the fraction of a cost as any other college.
In 2022 the FTIUM switched its affiliate school the Finishing Trades Academy from a Postsecondary Enrollment Option program to a Career and Technical Education Program. This allows students from area high schools the opportunity to gain high school credits while gaining hands on experience and financial literacy in the careers the FTIUM and IUPAT offer.

Our Recruiter travels across the Upper Midwest creating awareness of our programs and opportunities by attending career fairs, guest speaking directly to students in construction classes as well as Career and College Readiness classes in high schools, and hosting tours at the FTIUM.
