Skills and Knowledge Fair Grades 10-12

November 18, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Emergency Medical Services: Laura Korpi – Maximum of 22 students
Students will get an overview of the EMS field and employment opportunities.
Students will compete in two-person teams (please send an even number of students for this competition so everyone has a partner from their school) in a relay race that will include many EMS stations and applications.

Graphic Design and Visual Communications: Paul McLaughlin
(This event is designed for students who are interested in Graphics as a future career although no previous experience is necessary.)

Funding is available for transportation and substitute teachers for those school districts residing within the Taconite Assistance Area. See the attached flyers and link which includes information on how to apply, if this includes your school district.

General Mechanical & Skills Test

Crane test

Practical Nursing: Devon Luthens – Maximum of 30 students
There will be information on the program, hand on activities and games.

Electrical Controls & Maintenance: Scott Hoffman & Derek Moe – Maximum of 12 students – No Previous Experience Necessary! (PLEASE BRING SAFETY GLASSES!)
Students will be wiring a simple low voltage circuit.
