Dive into the exciting world of composite technology with the America’s Cutting Edge (ACE) Composites Summer Bootcamps at Winona State University! This is your chance to gain hands-on experience with carbon fiber and fiberglass, learn from experts, and build a project to take home—all at no cost (a $2,500 value!).
What You’ll Experience:
Hands-on Training: Operate industry-standard equipment and master the art of resin infusion.
Project-Based Learning: Assemble and keep your own composite project.
Industry Recognition: Earn an ACE Composites in Automotive Credly badge.
Expert Instruction: Learn from Winona State University’s renowned Composite Materials Engineering program, a leader in the field for over 30 years.

Free, in-person training in composites.
Participants must be 17 or older.
After applying, participants must complete the online composites ACE course and send in the badge of completion.
Chaperones will be provided for all participants under the age of 18.
Transportation from the Winona Groome Shuttle drop off location to campus is provided.

Lodging and Dining:
Stay in Haake Hall, featuring suite-style single bedrooms, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and laundry facilities.
Enjoy meals at the Jack Kane Dining Center, with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks provided.
Travel:
Check-in is on Sunday afternoon/Monday morning.
Check-out is on Friday morning.
Transportation from MSP Airport via Groome Shuttle to Winona, with campus pickup, is available.
