Byron is a local city with just short of 6000 residents. The city staff works to provide clean water and proper working sewer services. We contract for law enforcement and provide volunteer fire and first responder services. The administrative staff review plats and developments to assure it meets the Comprehensive Plan and city zoning. We work to bring forward an annual budget which determines future purchases and property taxes. We review and maintain knowledge of Mn Statutes as they pertain to communities. Building permits for homes and commercial units are processed through this office.
