Service Technician Internship

As a Service Technician Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians and assist real customers in diagnosing and repairing equipment. This is not just shop observation — you’ll gain hands-on experience and apply what you’re learning in diesel mechanics, including:

• Diesel engines

• Powertrains

• Electrical and electronic systems

• Advanced diagnostics

• Laptop-based troubleshooting and machine software systems

At Midwest Machinery, you’ll discover that today’s technicians fix machines with both a wrench and a computer.

Who Should Apply

• Students interested in pursuing a diesel mechanic/service technician career

• Students who are (or plan to be) enrolled in a diesel mechanic program

• Must be accepted and enrolled in a diesel mechanic school by age 18

• Students may participate as a Youth Apprentice prior to full program enrollment
