Interested in laboratory science or curious about the many careers that happen behind the scenes in healthcare?
Discover Mayo Clinic: Lab Explorers is a free, hands-on experience for students in grades 9–12 to explore careers within Mayo Clinic’s Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.
Students will participate in interactive activities that provide a closer look at the work laboratory professionals do every day. Activities may include practicing blood draws using synthetic blood and working with basic laboratory equipment.
Students will also have the opportunity to connect directly with Mayo Clinic professionals, ask questions, and learn about the education and career paths that can lead to this work.

Whether you already have an interest in laboratory science or are simply curious about healthcare careers you may not have considered, this is an opportunity to experience the work firsthand and learn from the people doing it.
Space is limited. Registration is required.
Additional event details will be sent to registered students closer to the event date. A parent or guardian will be required to provide permission for students to participate in the hands-on activities.
