Hey, Austin high schoolers — yes, YOU.

You know that feeling when someone asks, “What’s cool about Austin?” and you have a million things to say? What if you could show the whole world instead of just telling them?
We’re looking for a creative, motivated high school student to help design and build the town website for Austin, MN — the actual site people will visit when they’re thinking about moving here, visiting here, or starting a business here.

This isn’t a pretend project. This is real.

🌟 What You’d Actually Be Doing
Helping design and build web pages that showcase everything great about Austin — from the Spam Museum to local trails, schools, restaurants, and hidden gems only locals know about.
Creating content and marketing strategies that make people want to pack their bags and come see Austin for themselves.
Working with real professionals at the Discover Austin and local groups to make a real impact on your hometown.

Every time someone Googles “Austin, Minnesota” or “places to live in southeast MN,” your work could be the first thing they see. You’d be shaping how families, businesses, and visitors discover your community. That’s not just an internship — that’s a legacy.

You’re a high school student with a passion for creativity, design, or marketing.
You’re organized, reliable, and a great communicator.
You work well with others and aren’t afraid to share your ideas.
No experience required — just curiosity and a willingness to learn!

📋 The Details
Hours: 10–20 hours/week (we can work around your schedule!)
Pay: $16–$20/hour depending on experience
Location: In person at Discover Austin
Timeline: Project wraps up by June 30, 2026
Bonus: You’ll receive an official letter of completion to boost your college apps, scholarships, and future job hunts
