DESCRIPTION:JA Finance Park Mobile at Riverland Community College gives Owatonna High School students the chance to step into the role of an adult for a day. Students will use what they have learned in class to make real-life budgeting decisions\, choosing housing\, transportation\, and more based on assigned careers and family scenarios. \nWe need community volunteers to guide students through the experience and share real-world insights about managing money and planning for the future. No prior experience is required\, and all training is provided on site!

This daylong event will feature a morning with a snapshot of eight career sectors to explore with hands-on activities. You’ll have the opportunity in the afternoon to immerse yourself in a one-hour session with leaders and students in these fields\, allowing you and program students to become more informed and excited about career education. There will be opportunities for tours of Riverland’s labs and classroom spaces.
