DESCRIPTION:Major Madness is an event for current and recently transitioned EL\, BIPOC\, and first-generation juniors and seniors to learn about career and academic opportunities available after high school. Students will have an opportunity to hear from professionals and college students from diverse backgrounds talk about their career and academic experiences. Minnesota West and SMSU Admissions and Financial Aid staff will be available to answer questions. Campus tours will also be available.

Today the event has evolved into a highly interactive “Career Expo”. Hundreds of business\, agency\, and education volunteers work together to provide this opportunity for high school students\, adult basic education students\, and various SW MN Workforce Center participants … and nearly 2\,000 students participate annually\, and each year the number and type of interactive exhibits expand to better meet the needs of schools and students from the region. \nSchool and exhibitor resourses are available at the event page.
