SUMMARY:Minnesota State College Southeast Transportation Career Night
DESCRIPTION:This spring\, Minnesota State College Southeast is holding Trade\, Technical and Transportation Career Night in Winona on Thursday\, March 27 from 4:30 to 7 pm. \nProspective students and their families are invited to come to campus to meet with instructors\, admissions\, and financial aid staff and visit with industry representatives in an array of high demand\, high-paying career fields. \n“Don’t miss this one-stop opportunity! At Career Night\, students and their family can explore all of our high-technology labs\, speak with our experienced faculty\, and talk to industry representatives about careers in the field\,” said Calvin Clemons\, the college’s Director of Trade and Technology. “Our trades\, technology\, and transportation graduates are in very high demand fields and make great wages after just two years of college or less.” \nInformation for high school students who are interested in taking college credits through PSEO will be available\, too. \n“New this year\, we will have the Minnesota State Transportation Center of Excellence Career-Exploration Trailer on campus. This trailer is full of cool equipment such as truck driving\, heavy equipment\, and flight simulators\, as well as other hands-on projects to explore\,” said Calvin Clemons. \nTrade\, Technical and Transportation Career Night is an opportunity to learn about several of the college’s programs\, including: \n– Auto Body Collision Technology\n– Automotive Technology\n– CNC Machine Tool\n– Computer Aided Design\n– Construction Technology\n– Electronics/Biomedical\n– Mechatronics\n– Truck Driving\n– Welding \nRegister in advance for a chance to win a $250 Southeast scholarship and/or Snap-on or Matco tools.
