DESCRIPTION:The Minnesota State Centers of Excellence and Riverland are excited to invite you to “Minnesota Works: Exploring Tech and Trades” on Friday\, November 8 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Riverland Community College in Albert Lea\, Minnesota. \nThis event is your invitation to explore the high skill and high paying jobs critical to Minnesota’s economic future. This daylong event will feature a morning with a snapshot of eight career sectors to explore with hands-on activities. You’ll have the opportunity in the afternoon to immerse yourself in a one-hour session with leaders and students in these fields\, allowing you and program students to become more informed and excited about career education. There will be opportunities for tours of Riverland’s labs and classroom spaces.
