DESCRIPTION:Students are encouraged to create a video that highlights the importance of manufacturing in Minnesota. To submit the video\, simply upload it to YouTube or Vimeo and send a link to our Center’s email address at mnmfg@minnstate.edu. Students\, families\, and school counselors will have access to over 100 colleges\, universities\, military branches\, and specialty schools. Chat with representatives\, meet other students and narrow down your college search. \nWisconsin Education Fairs provide easy access to information about postsecondary options on a timely basis for all Wisconsin citizens\, regardless of geographic location. \nWEF includes in its participant list all UW state universities and centers\, Wisconsin’s independent colleges and universities\, Wisconsin technical colleges\, and many out-of-state institutions. In addition\, many community colleges\, trade schools\, and the national service organizations\, such as the armed forces are represented \nDon’t know where to start? Consider the following before attending an Education Fair: \n\nWhat are your career goals?\nHow far from home are you willing and able to go?\nWhat size campus would you strive in?\nWill financial aid and scholarships be available?\n\nNext while at the fair. Use your time wisely by showing demonstrated interest….meaning\, go up to a school you are interested in and bring a list of questions to ask booth representatives. \nConsider asking some of these: \n\nTell me about your most popular programs.
