SUMMARY:Health Sciences Internship
DESCRIPTION:The Summer Health Care Internship Program\, funded by the Minnesota Department of Health\, provides funding for hospitals\, clinics\, nursing homes\, and home care agencies to host up to 5 interns at each facility. Internship wages are reimbursed 50% through this program.  \nThe Minnesota Hospital Association facilitates this program and is currently accepting applications from health care facilities to host interns. Internships run Memorial Day to Labor Day\, students can begin applying any time. SUMMARY:Middle School Career Academy
DESCRIPTION:The Summer Middle School Career Academy camp is now open for registrations\, and we are thrilled to have business partners on board. Please help us spread the word by talking with your current 6th and 7th-grade students and their families. Let’s encourage them to participate in this exciting hands-on career learning experience taking place from June 11 to 14 at Rochester Community and Technical College\, Heintz Center\, in Rochester. Eight pathways will be explored: agriculture\, construction\, culinary\, health sciences “Scrub Camp”\, information technology\, manufacturing\, public and emergency services\, and transportation. Students can choose from a morning (8am-11am) or afternoon (12-3) session to learn about a pathway of choice.
