SUMMARY:The Minnesota Manufactured™ Statewide Tour Student Video Contest
DESCRIPTION:Students are encouraged to create a video that highlights the importance of manufacturing in Minnesota. To submit the video\, simply upload it to YouTube or Vimeo and send a link to our Center’s email address at mnmfg@minnstate.edu. Be sure to include the hashtags #MinnesotaManufactured\, #MinnesotaManufacturing\, #StatewideTour\, and #MNMFGStudentVideoContest in the social media posts about the contest. \nThe video contest is a unique blend of educational enrichment and creative expression giving students the opportunity to:\n• Polish their communication skills: Crafting clear and concise messages enhances the ability to convey complex ideas effectively both in person and online.\n• Explore manufacturing careers: Gain insights into the diverse and rewarding career paths in manufacturing\, sparking interest or inspiring students to share this knowledge with others.\n• Unleash their creativity: Showcase storytelling and video production skills by creating compelling and engaging content.\n• Win exciting prizes: Compete for cash awards valued up to $750! \nThree prizes will be awarded to the winning students as determined by the Statewide Tour Video committee:\n• 1st place prize: $750 cash prize\n• 2nd place prize: $500 cash prize\n• 3rd place prize: $250 cash prize \nThe contest deadline is February 28\, 2025.
